While maintaining consistent brand standards, each Winfield Street Coffee location celebrates its unique community. We embrace local character, adapt to regional preferences, and become a true neighborhood hub.

Winfield began as a neighborhood delicatessen in East Norwalk, Connecticut, first opened in 1925. In September 2015, Breno Donatti bought it and, over the following decade, grew it from a single deli into Winfield Street Coffee — today a seven-location brand across Connecticut, New York, and Florida, with its own organic coffee roasting program.
Three things: a genuine 100-year heritage (est. 1925), our own house-roasted organic coffee, and three revenue streams under one roof — premium coffee, a chef-crafted food menu, and professional catering. We also offer two formats (Full Café and Kiosk Express), so operators can match the model to their real estate.
It depends on the format. The Full Café requires an estimated total investment of $349,500–$683,000; the Kiosk Express, $151,000–$298,000. The initial franchise fee is $45,000 per unit, with multi-unit discounts. Complete details, including our Item 19 financial performance representation, are in our Franchise Disclosure Document, which we provide to qualified candidates.
You’re in business for yourself, not by yourself. Franchisees receive field support, regular business reviews, marketing assistance, operations consultation, and ongoing product and menu development, plus access to our full technology stack.
No. Our comprehensive OPUS training platform and hands-on support are designed to bring capable operators up to speed — from coffee craftsmanship to food preparation to team leadership. Strong operators and multi-unit experience are a plus, but coffee experience is not required.
Prime territories are available across the United States. Each franchise receives a protected territory (a one-mile radius from the approved location; non-exclusive, with corporate accounts carved out). We currently operate in Connecticut, New York, and Florida and are actively expanding.
It varies by candidate, but the path is: initial inquiry → discovery call → mutual evaluation and review of the FDD → visit our headquarters (Meet the Team) → franchise award → training and grand opening. By law, the FDD must be in your hands at least 14 days before any agreement is signed.
Comprehensive onboarding through our OPUS training platform: hands-on operational instruction, coffee craftsmanship certification, food-preparation standards, and team-leadership development — followed by ongoing field support after you open.
